Sculptures made from XPS foam, jesmonite, VR headset, VR trackers and other VR hardware
Event Collider is a collaboration with Cameron MacLeod and the first step in developing an interactive augmented virtuality installation, made for Grand Palais in Bern, Switzerland. The sculptures are brought into a virtual scene using 3D modeling software and their digital replicas are coordinated with their physical parents in space and time with help from a VR tracker. When the exhibition goer puts on the headset they will see the objects that they can interact with in the virtual scene. Interactions, such as creating new sculptural compositions by combining 2 or more elements will trigger events in the VR scene.
